Oh Boy, THIS boy !!!

Oh boy, THIS boy.......Really, I don't know where to start ! He isn't my blood, but I , like SO many, LOVE him ! The smile, that special little GLOW ! It's his HUGE, loving heart that seems to just grab you ! Oh, and not to mention his beautiful eyes ! He has such COMPASSION and understanding way beyond his years. He just seems to KNOW when someone needs a hug, needs their hand held . I've heard it said, many times, that "children are a gift from God". Well, HE definitely IS, and I thank God for him today and every day ! Oh, and thank you too to Cyle, Bridget and Meme and family ! He is such a joy ! Oh boy, THIS boy is Cayden ! And he truly is a gift to all who is fortunate enough to meet him !! He has captured my heart !

Who could ask for more ?

Who could ask for more ? Friends and in particular one and two FRIENDS who manage to do the most SPECIAL things for us ! Selena and Chad along with all of us Murtaughs are blown away by the kindness of our friend Diana ! A baby shower was given by Diana along with help from sweet Debbie. Everything was beautiful, thoughtful and MORE then we could have ever asked for ! Loving touches everywhere...speaking of everywhere --- we Murtaughs were staying at Diana and Daves' house all weekend, Diana had a shower for Selena, along with planning a surprise birthday celebration for Rick.... Dianas' thoughtfulness was EVERYWHERE and all around us, and in everything planned !

Selena was surrounded by friends and family and was given wonderful baby gifts, as well as words of wisdom, words of advise by all. She soaked it all up, listened with her heart and was filled with emotion. Who could ask for more?

For Chad, like all of us, being in Westlake means being HOME. Celebrating such special times with long time friends, makes the celebrating even sweeter !

Ricks' expression says it all ! The weekend was full of surprises ! It isn't easy to surprise Rick, but Diana managed to do that by contacting friends and set up an early birthday gathering. After all, it isn't every day that you turn 60 yrs. old, right?

Friends are like flowers that never fade. Thank you for all that you are to us ! Today and always ! You're the best !!

Tulsa Time

I recently got to visit one of my favorite places : TULSA. ! I love it because I have some very , very special people to visit there......

There are these two cuties, Carter and Cameron, along with their adorable mommy and daddy, Bridgette and Jeremy.

There's also a very sweet little boy, Cooper, along with his family , Christina, Charles, Avrey Madison, and Angel. I was able to join the fun and celebrated Coopers' 3rd birthday with friends and family ! Uncle Chad is joining Cooper at his sandbox and little picnic table. A gift for his birthday ! I can picture Uncle Chad joining Cooper this summer right at this same spot.

I also was able to see my favorite Dental Hygeniest, Selena of course! Not only is she adorable, but she's quite good at her job ! Thanks Selena ! I actually enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned ! I think that it was the great company !!! You are awesome !

Visiting my favorite son, Chad and tea maker extraordinnaire. He made it in a set that was his Valentines' gift from Selena. She thinks of the neatest gifts ! I'm spoiled now, I never knew that tea could taste so good! Thanks Chad !

Chad and I spent time together painting and preparing their babys' bedroom ! I was soooo impressed with the patience and attention to detail that Chad showed ! He did an amazing job! Definitely a labor of love !! It's so beautiful and all "new" and fresh feeling. It won't be long now and our sweet Baby "M" will be adding to the beauty of that oh so beautiful room ! I'm beside myself...just can't wait to meet that much anticipated and much dreamed about, little grandson !!!!

My visits to Tulsa are always such a special "treat" for me ! I LOVE being there with my son that I adore and his little bride and mommy-to-be who is such a part of my heart ! They are so excited to be parents to their little guy! They've been so looking forward to this time in their life and have been counting the time til he will arrive and make them the wonderful mommy and daddy that I know they will be. How cute are they??? Saying good-bye to these LOVES is always a struggle, but I know that I'll be back with them before too long and that makes my heart so happy ! Thanks Chad and Selena for making me feel so at home there with you ! Soon we will be together there again and there will be one more person who will make me love my visits there !

Heading to Tulsa .......

I can't wait to have time with Selena to chat, and to listen and to learn about their plans for their June arrival of Baby boy M !

To see Chad...bake some goodies for him, some favorite meals, to walk around the lake together, and to share some fun stories of his "baby days" and my first time mom experiences!

To be a part of their lives, just to be there, to paint the babys' room, to visit their friends and family....and to be able to hug them ! I know it will be wonderful !!
