YEAH

It started with a strong desire to be a Dental Hygenist....Lots of work along the way to make the dream come true....this is what Selena wanted to do for her profession.

Her graduation day had finally arrived....two of her special people , Madison and Avrey along with their family, travelled to Oklahoma City for graduation day. They're so happy for their
Aunt Selena !!

Another special "fan" is proud husband Chad and Carter !!
Sister in law, Missy, travelled from New Jersey to celebrate this day !

Selena's "Murtaugh family" couldn't be more proud of her !
And our radiant graduate.....I love this picture !
Selena was president of her class and gave a wonderful speech during the ceremony ! She seemed so calm, and her speech was the perfect combination of humor, memories shared, and looking to the future.

Classmates sharing the day...
Ashley and Bridgette dental hygenists and great friends celebrate ! Little Cameron added the perfect touch to a special girl friend picture !
Ashley , Brandon and Selena, all smiles !
It's official !!
Sister Christina, always there !!
Very proud husband, Chad knew Selena could do it!
Family: A great day for us all !!!

Lucky this child ,who will be parented by such loving, nurturing parents ! I can just picture a much wanted and loved child, all nestled in their arms (while rock climbing, kayaking, camping) ! Sweet Mason

Sweet Mason has been many "things" to so many people. But his most prized role in life, was loyal friend, protector and peace-maker. All who knew him often felt that he was a "human in dogs' disguise".

Mason loved his family and was really his happiest, just being home with them !! A walk in the park with his "mom" and "dad" was his own little piece of heaven. Mason, we miss you so much already, but you'll always be a part of our hearts!!

Mason snuggling with his good buddy and "brother", Faz. Always ready for fun !!

Talkin 'bout my girl......

The time with family is always special, goes by too quickly, but cherished.....seems like our Missy had just arrived and it was time to go back home. Isn't that always the way?

We had a GREAT time, here are some of the faces, and places of the weekend :

A favorite place was the hot tub. Not a lot of time was spent actually IN the hot tub, but feet in, splashing and relaxing til the swimming pool heated up a bit.

Morning walks....those two can really move it !!!

A visit up to the club to introduce her to new friends that have heard so much
about her.

Heading to the beach for an evening watching the sunset.

A REAL favorite: time at the beach to relax, read, and catch some rays.

A few laughs with dad. People watching at the Hyatt hotel. Beautiful spot .

And of course, a ride with dad in the convertible!

Missy said that she "got to do everything I hoped to do". Hugs, walks together, relaxing and catching up on our lives....yup, everything we hoped to do ....

Spring break opportunity

My brother, Ryan and his family , Chris, Dylan, Kira and Emma rented a home with another family, for a week. They were in Florida, in a beautiful home on an island. Rick and I were grateful for the chance to spend some time with them ! Here, Emma (boy, her smile is just like her moms') is showing the million dollar bill that Rick gave her. She was pretty excited about such a great gift....no doubt she figured it out even with all the convincing "uncle Rick" did.Dylan is 16 now. Quite the cutie and full of confidence, not cockiness. He's great to visit with and has grown to be such a fun and loving guy (a lot like his dad)!!
Kira is a real beauty and friend to all ! She seems to make everyone around her feel special.

Aren't they just the cutest? Thanks again for the incredible time ! Looks like mom and dad will soon be the shortest ones in the family !

New Jersey TIme

Ah, a time to do just fun, everyday things with daughter Missy and her husband Jason. I certainly don't take these opportunities for granted. The weather was fantastic, so we took advantage of being outside whenever we could. Missy and her other mother Cheryl are planting some seeds in tiny "window sill" pots. Missy's face is even a little sun-kissed.
Jason has become quite the sought out educator and speaker. He has a group of eager learners
at one of his many seminars held after all day of working. He's captivating and very at ease, very fun to be in his audience !
Missy and I, along with 3 friends/co-workers, attend a health fair . She really loves being a chiropractor and sharing what she knows with people. It's wonderful seeing Missy and Jason so passionate about what they do...and it's just as wonderful, seeing others' benefit from what the two of them teach.
Ah...and I absolutely loved seeing Missy relax and have some time to day dream and enjoy
their beautiful back yard !
It was hard to leave New Jersey knowing that it would be awhile before I see them again. But
my heart is full of sweet memories ! Thanks to Missy and Jason for making me feel so at home with them !!
